4th Annual Driving Bonanza - June 24 to Jun 27, 2019

HCCDC is once again holding a Driving Bonanza at Fish Creek Ranch. Our clinicians will be Andy Marcoux of Coachman’s Delight fame and Eileen Davis from Prescott Arizona.

We are sure most members will be familiar with Andy but we are pleased to introduce you to Eileen Davis. Below is further information on our fabulous instructors:

Eileen Davis

Eileen Davis has been horse crazy since childhood. She has worked her entire life with horses. She moved to Arizona in 1993 where she trains both students and horses in the sport of driving. Her ranch is the Davis Ranch Combined Driving Centre in Prescott Arizona. Please visit her website at combined-driving.com to find out more. We are very excited to have her come to Alberta.

Andy Marcoux has been professionally training horses of all breeds and descriptions for over 20 years. A graduate of The Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts, Andy has held positions as Coachman and trainer throughout the United States. EIGHT-Time USET PAIRS Champion Larry Poulin is no stranger to international competition.  Along with his extensive experience competing in EIGHT WORLD PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIPS, he represented the USA as the highest-placed American driver of the USET pairs squad at the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in 1985, 1987, and again in 1989.  He attributes his success in driving to correct training and riding in the FEI dressage arena.  Lawrence is a USDF BRONZE and SILVER medalist.  He qualified for the USDF PSG Regional Championships scoring well into the 70’s.

Larry is happy to work with all rider/driver levels and breed of horse.  His goal is to produce a willing partner for the rider/driver to enjoy; enabling the horse to enhance the performance through correct and supportive training.

You can get a better understanding of Larry and his training philosophies in his DVD “Driven Dressage: On The Aids”.
